Do I get a cost of living increase in my workers' compensation?

Unforunately, unlike Social Security Disability Befefits, or Supplemental Security Income Benefits, Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Benefits do not get increased on a annual basis for Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA).

Based upon the Statewide Average Weekly Wage, the maximum compensation payable under sections 105.1 and 105.2 of the Workers' Compensation Act shall be $978 per week for injuries occurring on and after January 1, 2016. For purposes of calculating the update to payments for medical treatment rendered on and after January 1, 2016, the percentage increase in the Statewide Average Weekly Wage is 2.9%.

In 2015, the maximum rate was $951.00 per week.
